Good News From USANA

Quite a news! After a long silence, I went back to check my email and receive a good news from USANA.

First, USANA products are now listed in MIMS Malaysia. What is MIMS? MIMS stands for Monthly Index of Medical Specialties. What is it? It's a guide for doctors and pharmacists to provide prescription to his patients. Any health product that's not listed in MIMS can't be prescribed to a patient. USANA products being listed in MIMS Malaysia is a really good news to doctors, pharmacists and patients in Malaysia that practice drug-free nutritional medication! Great job USANA!

Yet, there's another good news on USANA! USANA has appointed a new accounting firm to manage its account after its appointed Grant Thornton accounting firm quited earlier in July this year. It's a good news to me because it provides better certainty to USANA business endeavor. Strong business outlook is pretty important to me because it ensures a constant supply of its great nutritional products!

Here's a copy of the email from USANA:

Subject: USANA appoints accounting firm PricewaterhouseCooper

Dear Distributors,

I wanted to be the first to share the great news that USANA has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as our new independent public accounting firm. PwC is the global leader in accounting, providing audit and advisory services to more than 70 percent of the Fortune Global 500.

With our impressive record of sustained growth in 13 markets around the world, USANA requires an independent auditor with exceptional skills and experience. Several of the largest and most respected accounting firms vied to offer us their auditing services as we worked to engage an auditor that we were confident would meet our corporate, Distributor, and investor needs. USANA and our audit committee decided PwC’s global resources and experience as the world’s leading accounting firm made it the best choice for our growing company.

We are very excited to work with the talented PwC team as the USANA family works towards its goal of becoming a billion dollar company. With the hard work and dedication of Distributors like you, I know we can do it.

Thank you for everything you do to make this company a world leader in our industry. I look forward to what we will accomplish together in the years to come.

Live well,

Dave Wentz
President

What Have Changed Today?

I have to re-evaluate what kind of content that I wish to fill into this blogspace. True enough that it is USANA and MLM that have triggered the birth of this blogspace. But as I look further, it was something that USANA and MLM have offered me that really have captured my interest. What are they? Health and philosophy of success.

As I engage into a journey into myself, wondering why I am so keen to health and philosophy, I stumble upon the them two, health and philosophy, together with other things -- agriculture, guitar, photography, places of interest, bits&bytes and water activities, right in the bottom of my heart -- hidden under the subconscious level.

Those are my interest, my passion. And throughout the journey of my passion, I have learned so many things.

I know that these things that I have learned, may stay with me forever, a year, a month, a week, or maybe for just a day, depending on how much it touches my subconscious level. I worry I'd lost them.

As thus, this week, I have decided to make a major change to this blogspace. From this day onwards, it will be a mean for me to touch my subconscious level, in the effort embedding them into my eternal memory.

The change is: I will write anything that falls under my umbrella of passion of which I think will benefit others from reading it -- something worth sharing. It will no longer limited to USANA and MLM.

At such, this change will take immediate effect:

  1. my blog url changed from http://usana-adventure.blogspot.com to http://whathaveilearned.blogspot.com
  2. my blog heading changed from "My USANA Journey" to "The Journey of My Passion"
  3. my blog description has also changed to "Health, agriculture, guitar, philosophy, photography, bits&bytes and water activities..."
Whatever thoughts that I have posted earlier, will stay there.

Lastly, there was no blogging for the last few weeks and maybe for a few weeks ahead as well. Too busy with both work and my passion.

Napoleon Hill's Think & Grow Rich and My Chili Fertigation Project

Both of the two items have been occupying my time right at this moment. Nevertheless, I still am consuming ESSENTIALS™ to keep my mental and physical strength on tip top condition.

I've been listening to Think and Grow Rich audiobook which I've downloaded from P2P file sharing community (to learn how to download gigabytes of audiobooks from free P2P file sharing community, go to my Power Download 101 webpage). In this audiobook, Napolean Hill is sharing the "success philosophy", which he learned from Andrew Carnegie about a hundred years ago. This book has been published well beyond its time. The philosophy is applicable hundred years ago and can't never be any truer today. Think and Grow Rich, which philosophy is strong indeed, has triggered many thoughts among many leaders which then contributed to the prominent civilization growth in the 20th century. Great audiobook. I'll take some time writing on Napoleon Hill's Think & Grow Rich some other time.

Next...

Planting chili with fertigation system is really fun. Right at this moment, I am working to preparing the fertigation system for 300 chili plants which I planned to be ready for running by end of next week. So this entire week I've been devoting my time on this. Have been spending my weekends on it and my weekday's night time from 8pm to 12 midnight (sometime up to even 1 o'clock in the morning). Even when it rained, I still work on it (good thing about fertigation system is that it has roof!). Chili really makes good money. I'll write more on this in future.

At this moment, I should thank Dr Myron Wentz (for his USANA's ESSENTIALS™) and Napoleon Hill (for his success philosophy in Think and Grow Rich) that has really kept me strong mentally and physically. Thank you guys!

Now, if you'll let me go, I've got an irrigation tubing network that I have to work on!
